I love a challenge. I love a fun, creative person with a fun, creative plan. So when I got the email from this mama stating that she wanted to do a Lisa Frank Aliens themed cake smash, I had to pull my car over to respond THAT SECOND. What could be more fun than this?! And, this is a case where we absolutely have GOT to talk on the phone. I can’t just see this email and not ask questions - because what I think might not line up with the vision Mama has. Not only that, I am of the mindset that collaborating and bouncing ideas off of each other helps us come up with THE MOST EXTRA ideas in the very best of ways. Or just come up with things we may not have thought of on our own.

So that call spawned a lot of really great ideas. And I happily set about bringing them to life. It was so much fun - and of course, I kept Mama apprised along the way for approvals or additional ideas.

We also did a post-cake smash tub splash. My mantra is “not every baby loves cake but almost every baby loves the tub”. This guy was so happy either way - but of course, he did love the tub! This is something that is done in any cake smash that parents want it.
