Main Line Family Photographer | Our House Is A Very, Very, Very Fine House

The mama of this family contacted me to come and photograph her family as they are today, in their space. They are moving from a house in which they enjoyed many great memories and wanted to document their family and their home and the way they spent their time in that space today. I loved the idea and of course said yes immediately. And what a fun, fabulous session it was. We had such a great time, because the kids wanted to show me all around their house and the things they did there, and I got to get such a great sense of who everyone is, as individuals and as a family, and how they utilized their home in their time together. From feeding the koi in the pond to meeting Polar Bear in Brother's room to reading books in Sisters room and finally to playing dinosaurs with Dad in the playroom, I got to document them and who they are today. I had so much fun doing it and I imagine it didn't stress the kids out too much since we just asked them to be themselves. That said, I love the joy and reality these photos capture. This family was just fun and sweet doing their thing.This little chickie knows a thing or two about having fun. She can make a party out of anything!I love me a shot of a mama lovin' on her baby.And, also a daddy and mama lovin' on their baby.A boy and his polar bear.It was a pleasure to work with this fun, loving and sweet family.
