Media Newborn Photographer | Sweet Baby Brother

This sweet family came to see me because I'm a Media newborn photographer.  Newborn photography shoot days are my favorite days! My studio is all set up and ready to go - just add perfection. <3 Darling big brother Theo came in and was all business and all ready to go. He was so proud of his baby brother and ready to show me what a big boy he is, how he gets to hold his baby, it was so sweet. I'm pretty sure baby brother felt the same way because, I'm not making this up, this was what happened the second I set him down in his brother's arm. This is the first shot I took of the session, actually. Brotherly love indeed.newborn photographer media We kept a hat off of him for a lot of the poses because his mama loves his potentially-ginger adorable hair. I can't disagree with her on how cute it is! Also, I love how perfectly he fits into this little bed, just snuggled right down in there. You might notice that there's a lot of green in this photo - his mom chose the color, but I made it so that everything was green. I love the look to be consistent across a whole set, meaning if the wrap is green, then the layers and the stuffing is green too! I just think that keeps things so pleasing to look at. How about you? Or do you not even notice it once you see that adorable little face? I know it's hard to focus on anything else because these babies are just so cute!newborn photographer media, pa Even though I've been at this newborn photography thing for a long time, I still learn something new every session I have. I also LOVE to try out new poses, new ideas, put a layer of a different size, shape, color, etc. It's so much fun for me as an artist (I don't know, I always feel sort of weird referring to myself that way...) to do something differently and fall in love with it - then I have two options! Or more. This is a new pose I'm trying to perfect. Callum was one of the first ones I tried it out on. I do love how snuggled he looks here, don't you? newborn photographer media, pa I love this one. Simple, white, clean, perfect. Allows the focus to be squarely where it needs to be: this gorgeous baby.media newborn photographerI love all of the wrapped poses that we got - but baby's dad loves the naked ones. Again, I am with him on this one, because nothing showcases how itty bitty your baby is and how sweet the little baby toes, fingers, etc. are like those posed, naked shots. Callum was all posed out by the time we got to these but his parents were kind enough to oblige a return trip. This simple, sweet "head on hands" or head on wrists pose is always, always one of my favorites. Baby boy rocked this one! I might have to figure out a way to make this a studio sample. It's just perfect.newborn photographer media, pa I could keep sharing. I loved this session. He's just perfect. Here's one last one. Now. Normally, if you know me, you know that I do NOT leave a finger tensed up. I am borderline insane about flat fingers. This boy and I could not come to an understanding about not scrunching up his fingers in this pose. I tried, man alive did I try. We had to settle on this compromise. I'm pretty pleased with it. Even with scrunchy fingers.Media Newborn PhotographerThank you so much McH fam. You guys are awesome.
