Philadelphia Baby Photographer | Happy First Birthday!
One of the most fun parts about being a Philadelphia Baby Photographer is that many of my clients return to me for their milestone sessions. Milestone sessions, in the first year, are usually done around six months - the "sitter" session and at one year - the first birthday session! Sometimes, parents like to bring a cake to these sessions and let their little one go to town on them, and sometimes we just break out a variety of vintage, adorable props and use those. I'm wild - occasionally, we'll do both! That was the case with this darling little lady. Her mom did such a fabulous job of planning out her session. Adorable clothes, delicious cake, and she even brought a piece of vintage furniture of her own! (Plus, she brought me a caramel chocolate covered "unicorn horn" i.e. pretzel rod that I happily consumed and then promptly wished I had more!) We had fun emailing and sharing ideas.Part of the fun for me is that I got to see this little lady again. If you click here, you can see how small she was when I did her newborn session. She has grown a LOT in one year! And, the spot on outfits were so cute and photographed so beautifully as you will see below. Plus, the adorableness of cake smashing is always a delight too. Another fun bonus is that her mom took some video and then sent it to me so when I made her happy birthday video, I had video footage to add! Okay, enough words! I'll bring on the cute.
