Philadelphia Cake Smash Photographer | Happy Birthday!

This little lady and her mama blew me away with the adorable styling for her first birthday session. I love how simple it was! I am already a very simple setup kind of a photographer for cake smash sessions. I definitely love how a highly decorated set looks, but for me, simple is better and less is MORE. And, I think I want to hire this mama to style all of my cake smash sets. I just love this so much.

And, you know what? I knew I was gonna do this. After I publicly declared that I post my favorite five images from every session (which is by the way totally arbitrary and I chose that number so many years ago but it works so whatever, right?), here’s me posting more THE. VERY. NEXT. DAY. Ugh.

Also, I am breaking all of my self-imposed-and-totally-arbitrary rules today, because I try to only post images with things that I own. So, I DID go out and buy this tent after seeing mom’s find (well, a similar one. Mine has a not-lacy tieback front for a more neutral look), but the adorable crown and flowers are all Mama’s styling. Adorable romper is Mom’s too!

This baby! She’s like a baby influencer with that haircut, outfit, and, well, her whole look!

Such a gentle little smasher. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. Just took a bit and ate it.
