Philadelphia Photographer | Brand New Baby
Baby Jaxon's parents brought him to me with the plan in mind that we were going to incorporate both of their occupations into his session. Dad is a police officer and mom is a flight nurse. So we did a combination of my usual poses and then we added in some stuff to make the session reflect what and who they are.
As you know if you've been here for a minute or two, Philadelphia is in my blood and in a lot of what I do for my clients, who feel the same way! Baby Jason Kelce gets requested a LOT. Pretty sure that we had Grandma on FaceTime so that she could see this shot live - generations of Eagles fans in this family!
I love this little smile that he gave when he got a hold of his dad's badge. His papa was so smiley and so head over heels in love - it's pretty clear that the feeling is mutual.
But, when we got his mama's flight helmet, he was also pretty happy too. I think this is one loved, secure, happy boy! (Either that or gassy. Do you believe in smiles or do you think they're gas? I vote baby happiness all the way and don't buy that "it's gas" stuff!)
I feel like the luckiest Philadelphia photographer when people bring me their new baby - their most treasured thing in the world. I know that wedding photographers think they see people on the happiest day of their lives, but I beg to differ. This is joy.
Looks like he has coppery hair, right? It sounds like it had just shown up that way right before they got to my studio, so there was some debate. Maybe it was my lighting and maybe it was his hair but it was looking very beautifully coppery reddish to me! What do you think?
