If you're here, it's probably to learn more about my Philly baby photos. But, you always wind up also learning more about me. Sorry. Ish. Your lesson for today about me is that I will talk to a hole in the wall. I just love chatting with people. I talk to people in the line at the grocery store, on the street, pretty much everywhere there is someone close enough to hear me. I actually really enjoy talking to people.A consequence of that proclivity is that sometimes, I look familiar to people, or, more often, they look familiar to me. But I don't always know why, or remember where I talked to them. More often than not, I talk myself out of thinking that I know them. Such was the case when this pretty little lady came into my studio - there was something super familiar about her dad - and I didn't know why. So I just chalked it up to my chatty nature.It wasn't until her mom placed her order and I saw her address that it clicked: they bought my parents' home last year! I WAS AT THEIR HOUSE TO PICK UP MY SISTER'S DIPLOMA during the time I was editing these photos, and it still didn't click. OMG. So, a) small world and b) I'm not that observant, I'm just chatty.So, baby's session. She was just the sweetest, smiliest little pea. I had so much fun putting dainty little headbands on her and posing her.See? That little dainty headband is perfect for her little smile.Love this purple on her. Little purple pea! <3Backlit beautifulness. I love this shot.I love using a monochromatic color palette (these pretty shades of blue) with a pop of color from the plant. Doesn't she look so cozy?I love the side view. When your mama is a fitness instructor, you get a fitness shoot.Pink baby, pink backdrop. So beautiful.Smile and a different angle. I love seeing a sweet baby's pose from all the angles.Sometimes, daddies make the best assistants! Her dad rocked at helping me with this pose. Look at her itty bitty fingers. and toes. And lips and ears and eyelashes. I love this black and white, and the simplicity and perfection of the pose.
