Twin Boys! | Philadelphia Newborn Photography

I drove to meet this family wondering what you do if you have twins; how you survive the first few weeks at home with two brand new babies. Well, their parents showed me: you quickly figure out that you and your husband are a team and, if you are like these boys' parents, you operate as a well-oiled machine after a few short days. Wow! They are amazing, Mama and Daddy D. Giving bottles, holding two babies at once, swaddle one, change the other one's diaper, easy peasy. I couldn't believe them, and on not that many hours of sleep.The other thing I worried about was how I would tell them apart. They were kind enough to have babies that were not identical, although equally adorable. Baby N was a sweet little sleepy head, while baby L was the little rascal - I would think he was asleep, but as soon as I'd ever so gently lay him down, up he'd pop to see what was going on. Eventually they both fell asleep at the same time, but I worked for it. (Okay, so did both of their parents, too.)D Family, you guys are adorable and amazing.  I feel like we are old friends!
