These twin babies right here are a part of a family that I’ve been photographing for so long that they feel like old friends. I love when their mom messages me photos of their older sister, or of them, or that we could compare their sessions and their older sister’s sessions. It does feel like such a privilege to be brought into someone’s family this way.

I mean, he’s beaming in a BABY SIZED SUIT you guys. Come on! Can you even stand it? And look at her perfect pretty little face. I can’t with these two.

Miss wasn’t really feeling it here.

But she did seem to get a little happier once she possessed both buckets to herself. I hear you, sister, I hear you.

We eventually did move on to the cake smashing portion of our show. Cake smashes are sometimes a bit of a gamble. Usually, the baby has never been exposed to something so sweet in their short little lives - you know, besides love and all. :P Also, this thing is gigantic compared to what they’re used to being fed! So, when they are presented with their very own cake, sometimes they look up at us like, “What am I supposed to do with this?!” and sometimes they dive right in. The expressions and the reactions are 100% the best part of the cake smash! Every once in a while, you get a baby who dives into the cake face first, too. I live for that, by the way.

These two had a look at their cakes and, as you can see, Jack did not hesitate to dip a finger in for further inspection.
