This little baby girl is so loved and so doted on. I just love when a baby’s daddy is so excited to be a part of the creation of this session for them and for their family. This little lady already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger.
She has her mama’s name in hers and both of her parents’ hearts too.
She was a dream to me - as I tell people, not every baby will be happy to do every pose. Some of my job is knowing when to try which poses - when babies are sleepiest, what helps them relax and settle. Some of it is having goodies at my disposal to help them cooperate (I’m looking at you, Baby Shusher!), and, well, other secrets that I keep tucked up my sleeve for when I need them.
The biggest help, though, in obtaining these beautiful newborn poses, is to get them done early. Once the baby is three weeks old is definitely not the best time to contact me. The photos that you see here are typically of newborn photography sessions that have taken place at some time in the seventh to fourteenth day of baby’s life. I encourage you to contact me while you are still pregnant. This way, I can be sure to have room for you to get your little one in in that time frame that helps us to get the poses you love!

Ohhh, this expression! It cracks me up and makes my heart feel light all at once. These are the photos that I point to when people tell me that babies are boring or are blobs or have no personality. REALLY??? See exhibit A below for how wrong those statements are!

Little baby rocked this pose. It is my favorite pose, and I love how it accentuates her perfect cheeks and facial features.
