Day Ten | Philadelphia Baby Photography

Anyone who knows me well knows that I do not get in elevators. I'd rather walk up fifteen flights of stairs in four inch heels than step into an elevator. I have tried to get out of going in an elevator while admitted to a hospital on more than one occasion, including opting to take the stairs while in labor with my son. I'm that hardcore. (Oh, it's not health related. It's crazy related.)Why do I tell you this in a blog to show beautiful newborn photos, you may be wondering? Oh, because this beautiful family lives on the 7th floor. Thank goodness the dad took pity on me and met me downstairs and took my packed up cart (if I've come to you with my newborn photo shoot stuff, you know how much stuff this is!) and rode up with the cart while I huffed and puffed my way up the steps. And, it was all worth it. Because the seductive, beautiful wrappy light from the huge windows in their apartment made me swoon, and I decided to roll with the natural light instead of the Alien Bee strobe and Westcott softbox I normally use.. But mostly because sweet Rex was so darling and because his parents, who, if having a newborn isn't hard enough, were also graduating, starting a job but not before moving across the country for said new job, stopping for an extended stay with family and moving all of their things, phew. That is exhausting to think about! But, they were so sweet and calm, you'd hardly know how much was spinning around them.See what I mean? Gorgeous, lovely, serene images. I love these images of this beautiful new family starting out on their journey. I wish you all the best, safe travels, and joy.I think this is my favorite from their session.philadelphia newborn photography But I also really like the angle of this shot.philadelphia newborn photography Just a perfect little angel.best of Philly newborn photographernewborn photography philadelphia newborn photography
