Sweet Darling | Main Line Baby Photographer

I'm the kind of person who gets a sense about other people, often from the first email. So, when I read an email and the person is wonderfully sweet (like the majority of my clients, really!), I usually go out of my way to work with them. Baby L's mama was no exception. She was so sweet in her email that I really wanted to work with her, even though her baby was a month old. If you've read my blog, talked to me on the phone, inquired about a newborn session with me, ran into me on the streets of Philadelphia and I told you what I do for a living, chances are that in the first few sentences of our conversation about newborn photography, I told you that the majority of the babies that you see on my website are photographed in the first ten days of life. I will often go on to explain that they are sleepier and more flexible and thus easier to photograph and pose in that time frame. And, even though Mama L was so super nice, I told her that too, when she told me that her baby was a month old. Eek. I just don't do newborn sessions at one month. But she was really sweet, and said she wanted family photos, so I said of course, and that I'd try some newborn shots too.Well, the family photos are gorgeous and gave me a bit of a bug for some lifestyle family sessions, too. And those newborn setups I brought "just in case" for Baby L? Yeah. She rocked them. Seriously, I flew through them after she conked out after eating and was only wishing we had more! She was just tiny little perfection. Thanks, Z Family - you guys rule.
