Delaware County Newborn Photographer
Genetics is a funny thing. When my kid was born, everyone told me how much they could see my husband. Oh, that baby looked like my husband, and on and on and on. I was like, "And here's me with a row of staples in my stomach, though. Nice." I felt like saying, "JUST LIE TO ME". So, I know how annoying it is. Yet, I feel like it's crazy how many babies come in and look just like their dads. I feel like recently I read an article about there being an evolutionary reason, but then I just googled and couldn't find it. That said, in my business as a delaware county newborn photographer, I see a lot of babies. They mostly look like their dads. Like 70/30 or more. Sorry, mamas. <3 I think evolution did us wrong. That said, I was just looking at these photos to blog them and could not believe how much this baby looked like his dad. It's crazy, because I got to see them both at their maternity session (see here) and at this session, so I got to see the father twice. And boy. This baby is the spitting image (yucky idiom what the heck, English Language??!) of his dad. I sometimes think: Well, the mom likes how the dad looks most likely so that's good. :)And, I'm thinking now I'm rambling, so I'm gonna show you some images from this super cute newborn session. Look at this amazingly beautiful mama. <3 She was so sweet and emotional when we shot these, because she was so in love with the baby. Thinking about it makes my eyes kind of leaky. This is one of my favorite parent images ever.Little toes. <3 Love.Little baby pants. And those long fingers. Babies captivate me!We got to do some fun prop shots too!Asleep on a cotton candy cloud. Sigh. That's all for now, although I could post a million more favorites from this sweet session! Thanks, B Family! Are you expecting?
