Rockin' Baby | Creative Newborn Photography Philadelphia

Oh, how this post wants to pull me in three different directions! First, I will say about how much fun it was to see this family again, because I photographed their older daughter when she was a week old and it's a huge compliment to me when people come back to me with another baby. Second, it's such a treat for me to see how the one whose photos I took years ago has grown, is talking, has those adorable little baby teeth that look like mini chiclets, not to mention that I love seeing my new mamas and new daddies again! Third, I love that I got to see them again because they challenged me in their first session to come up with a way to incorporate their love of Crossfit, and to use a kettlebell in their first kiddo's session. Um, okay. Because those things go together so well? Except they DO! I came up with a concept I was happy with thanks to talking it out with a teenaged comrade of mine (teenagers are smart and are the future and I count myself lucky when I have a teenaged friend!) and we came up with this. This photo is my most pinned image ever. If you google "crossfit baby" this comes up first. And these parents LOVED it, too, which made my heart sing. I loved it as well. And it made me love creative newborn photography and incorporating a fun, meaningful "prop"py shot or two into every session when possible. Third, I want to say that they did it again. They challenged me to come up with something showing their love of music. So, I give you, rockin' baby. Possibly my favorite image from 2015. Definitely top ten.creative newborn photography But wait, there's more.Beautiful awake baby.
