This little lady is one who is super special to me. Why? She isn't my niece. Or even a cousin. But her father owns one of the best gyms in the area, and in my time that I've been there, I've sort of fallen in love with her parents. You know how you meet certain people and you just sort of resonate with them? Like, when you're with them, you just want to talk MORE? Yeah. That's them. (Side note - if you want to work out at a gym with literally THE BEST ENERGY you've ever been in, go there. It's incredible. You will be in the best shape of your life and you will love working your behind off in the process. I hope you like curse words and angry music, though. Don't be so uptight.)

So, long before she arrived, I started talking about a newborn session to her dad. Who told me that her mom is the one who makes all of the decisions. Duh. Smart man. Anyway, I know that I am not the only Delco photographer - and they know EVERYONE, so I was honored to be chosen to do their newborn session.

What dad did want to have was this. She's his "new hope" so we had to get his little Jedi with a light saber. I can't - like how did we get her eyes open, so serene. She's definitely wise.

My goodness, I do so love a smile. It makes the photo even MORE adorable, which often does seem impossible and yet, here we are!

Ooooh, I love this. So darling and sweet.

Her dad calls this the "chicken nugget pose". Because you just wanna pop them in your mouth, they are so so perfect and delicious. I agree.

I loved taking this little lady's photos. I also loved getting to spend the day with her mama, chatting, and seeing her dad as a dad for the first time. Such a treat, such an honor.
