New Baby Photographer | Baby in Fall Colors
I am a new baby photographer. I believe that I have the best job ever. Look at what I get to do!I love this combination of colors - it's so "fall" to me, but also just beautiful. Deep rich green + a fox hat + a gorgeous baby??? Yes, please, sign me up! Green is definitely this guy's color, right?Something you will probably notice when you look at my photos is that I am somewhat obsessed with color-coordination. I like all of the colors in the photos to be cohesive - so see above, we have a green flokati, a green hat and a green wrap? I just think that makes the photo even more beautiful and allows the perfect baby to stand out so much more. Do you like them coordinated or do you prefer a more random look?Something I also love is this simple white on white look.Again, the most important part of the baby photography is the BABY. Simplicity and coordination to me make it so much cleaner and put the focus squarely where it belongs: the perfect baby. I love his fingers and his piggies in this one! Now, that isn't to say that I don't love a prop, because OH, how I love to use a prop. See this absolutely perfect baseball and bat setup? LOVE IT. These are handmade, like almost all of my baby props, and were made by Buttercup Baby Props. One of my favorite things to do is to design my set list: the list of which poses, colors and props I will use for a session. Did you know that every session I do has it's own set list? Yep, that's right! Your session is custom designed for you - long before you even step foot into my studio. When you arrive, the studio is warm, the props are prepped and the colors are ready to go. We chat beforehand so that I know what poses are your favorites and what colors you want to use.We used mostly neutrals for this session with a few pops of color, at his mama's request. As is the case with the majority of my newborn clients, this mama scheduled their session while she was still pregnant - this ensured she got in when she wanted to!
