Philadelphia custom newborn photography - what is that and what does it mean?Well - it actually means a lot of things.When I speak with you over the phone, I will ask you if you have any preferences. Often, people prefer to incorporate the colors of their nursery into a pose. Or have strong feelings one way or another about a particular pose. I think baby Asher had strong feelings about being "potato sacked" - don't you? I think he kind of loved it!  Ahhh, such cuteness! I love this pose a lot. A baby in a bucket! Sometimes, the requests come on the fly when something particularly inspiring is seen laying around my studio. I honestly never would have thought to use these marquee lights this way - and given that I'd actually had them for years and never used them at all, it was a good thing Asher's mom had a vision for them, because I absolutely love what she had in mind! It seems a little Philly to me too - sort of reminds me of our iconic LOVE statue, do you think? Another way a session is custom: bring ya (well behaved) dog! These shots are usually a lot of work, but we make magic happen in my studio. Treats encouraged. For the photographer too. One final way we customized Asher's session: Asher's dad was a catcher in college. They brought his mitt and a ball with them (we discuss any prop bringing beforehand and I always have clients text me photos of the props with their ideas to see if I can make it work.
