Philadelphia Family Portraits | Mamas and their Babies
When the beautiful R Family drove up, I had yet to meet them so I wasn't sure what to expect. I mean, I knew it would be a mama and her baby or babies, of course, because I was doing my Mother's Day mama and me sessions, of course. But I did not know that I would end up meeting such a gorgeous family with two darling boys. I am not joking, I have the best looking and sweetest clients in all of Philadelphia, and beyond! And, of course, this family was no exception. Big Brother C stole my heart immediately, with his shy smile. He was such a great helper, too, trying to get his baby brother to look over at the camera. It was really so sweet to see how much he loves his baby brother. But, this mama. Beautiful, full of genuine smiles and laughter, and joy. I could see the joy radiating off of her. She embodies all I think of when I think of a mama - how we love our children, how something small that they do can make us catch in the throat or make a tear spring to your eye in an instant. How your face sometimes doesn't seem to be large enough for the smile your mouth wants to make. How your heart swells when you look at your baby, no matter how old that baby may be.The time of the session was perfection along with everything else - the time before sunset just makes glowy, gorgeous lighting in every shot. I think everyone should have their session at this time! Daddy was the best helper out there, too - making sure his boys and his beautiful wife were all smiles with his jokes, encouragement and standing right beside me to make sure they were looking at the camera (and looking like a certain famous professional baseball player, don't you think?). I love when I get a great assistant daddy! If I had one word for this session, it would be love. I left feeling so happy, and went home to snuggle my own child. To schedule your own family session before sunset, use this form to send me a message!
