Summer's Over and I'm Sad | Baby Photographer Philadelphia
Summer is the time for me. I love the heat. I love the slower pace. I love having my kid home with me. I love the swim club, I love having less to do. It’s a lazier time, and it’s also about spending the summer making memories with my kid. I also find that I work less, and that sometimes means that these things like blogging sessions fall by the wayside so that I still am able to focus on clients, editing, shooting sessions. I do what’s essential and the rest of the time is full of bike rides and barbecuing.
Now I’m back and what I am catching up on is blogging. Here is the first session. Cute little baby Adalynn. These are a few of the selections that her parents made from the photos from her session. I love her little lips and head tilt in this one below.
I love these stars. I’m not sure why I love them so much, other than the obvious of how cute they are! The way they match with the headband is perfect. The rainbow colors are amazing. I think the fact that the name of the drop is Rainbow Brite. I think that’s gotta be it. I love everything 80s. These remind me of those Lisa Frank stickers that you could buy on a roll. Ooh did I love those.
I can definitely see why her parents chose this one. Not only do I love her in these purpley tones, but her cute little half asleep smile is dreamy. <3
I love this pose. It’s one of my favorites! The sharpei back wrinkles that it creates never disappoint. I also love this color - she looks good in pastels and also jewel tones. Love it!
I used to not know what to do when a baby was awake in a session. Now I look forward to it. Because these expression shots in black and white are some of my favorites. I think they’re parent favorites too! And I get why. I have a snapshot in my head of a photo of my kid. When I see that expression now, I remember the photo. This feels like that.
