Whenever I meet the parents of twins, boy girl twins or otherwise, I am always amazed at how they are functioning. It is hard enough adjusting to life with one small person - but two, with the same set of demanding needs, hungry cries, dirty diapers and uncertainty at the state of your preparedness for this insurmountable task is multiplied by a factor of something close to a million, I'd think. And on much less sleep.

But, this is so darling to me - when I think about the bond they have already. When I think of the time they've already spent together, just knowing the other is there by their side. And thinking about them growing up together. Always being by one another's side.

And so - variations on this yin-yang theme are my favorite to include in a twin session, wrapped or unwrapped, this is so illustrative for me of how they must have been in utero.

This is a set of boy girl twins but it's precious in every variety. Plus - they're holding hands. <3
