Happy Birthday, Baby Girl! | First Birthday Session
I love when my newborn clients bring their little ones back for a first birthday session. Often, people want to know when to come back after their newborn session. I recommend doing a sitter session, which is normally around 6-7 months - the baby has usually just started sitting up unassisted and they are usually full of smiles. Then, I also recommend coming back when the baby has turned one, or rather, around the baby's first birthday, for a first birthday session. Oh, are these first birthday sessions fun! We don't have to smash a cake now, to have a good time. (here's hoping you get that song reference... do you?)This girl came back for hers and the first thing she did when she came in was let me hold her and put her head on my shoulder. Heart. Stolen. OMG. She is so darling.We had SO much fun with her - she was seriously game for anything and let us make our way through a ton of different setups, all ridiculously cute.We started with this setup - and that cute little smile with those little teeth was just cracking me up! 
Oh, gosh, those pretty eyes.
You've been reading this blog long enough to know I love dogs, so of course they brought their furry child.
OMG, when she got a hold of the pearls. She was just putting on a show. We were cracking up!

I think I'll stop here but I could share a million more of this girl. If you are thinking about having your baby photographed but are worried that I only photograph newborns, no, ma'am or sir!
