Newborn Photographer Main Line | And Baby Makes Three
Newborn Photographer Main LineI love when I have a maternity session, and then the new parents return with their newborn for newborn photography. I love seeing who people become as parents and how quickly that transformation happens. Isn't that wild, when you really think about it? Like, I met you a month ago and now you're Mom and Dad and parents of a person? It's crazy how the whole thing happens.I'm sure everyone does this, but when we left the hospital after I had a baby, we were like, "They're just gonna let us leave with this kid? Just like, take this kid home? Us???" And, yet, you do. And you keep the person alive and don't drop it (errrrrm....) and it's fine.Wait, where was I going with this?Anyway, it was so cool when the mom and dad from the post below came in with their new little lady! It was of course great to see them again and see their transformation into parents. BUT. I was so happy when I saw this pretty little lady and her cheekies and long fingers. Pretty girl. She was absolutely perfect in this little headband. I love her darling cheeks, fingers, nose. Oh, gosh. She's perfect, right? LOVE this little pixie hat - I was just so swoony over all of these! Love the shape of the wrap, love how that hat comes up all gnome-y in the back, love her cheeks and beautiful little face. It's always fun for me to get so many different angles from one pose. Cheeks. I love this pose because I love how her face is the focus of this and her body is out of focus. And I love how her hands frame her face so well. When your mama loves her a book... She seemed pretty relaxed about it. Future Rhodes scholar, perhaps? The "triple lindy". Her dad rocked being my assistant for this pose! So much easier when I can actually explain it properly. I wonder if you know - this is a composite. We don't actually leave the baby like this. And, not every baby will do this pose. But she did, and she rocked it!I haven't even shared the parent photos yet, which I totally L O V E, and I'm already over my 5 per session limit! (You saw how I snuck some extras into that one collage? Pretty sneaky, sis.)Anyway, I should also tell you in the interest of full disclosure, that since I adored this session and the maternity session too so well, I ordered a giant display of new products I'm offering in studio of them. Want me to post it once it arrives? Let me know! Also, are you pregnant? Hoping to become pregnant? Click here to send me a message so we can get your newborn session on the books!
