Philadelphia Maternity Photographer | It's All About the Light!

I am a newborn photographer, but sometimes what precedes that is being maternity photographer. I think that Philadelphia maternity photography is one of the most beautiful things I do! I love the diversity of looks that Philadelphia has to offer; she's like a little black dress. You can dress her up or dress her down. :P Okay, I'm just getting weird here.So, here we are, in a gorgeous location, and at my favorite time of the day to take photographs outside: the Golden Hour. It's really like, the Golden 1.5 or more Hour/s for me, because I do like to take advantage of that strong, not yet setting sunlight, too. This was a magnificent day, both as weather and sunlight goes. I know many photographers who prefer an overcast day but not me! I love that strong sun, especially for backlighting, and for filtering through the leaves. This day was just perfect.I have a lot of favorites to share from this session, because look at how that gorgeous sun is lighting up those gorgeous leaves! That navy dress goes perfectly with those gorgeous yellows and oranges and reds, too! A few feet away, a totally different look, same gorgeous people. :) Love that illuminated yellow off to the side, bringing in a gorgeous pop of color.That bokeh though. :) Love their smiles here. Natural and gorgeous.These shots are just a few feet apart, but look so different. I love them both! Some of that gorgeous sun snuck in. See how it's illuminating the grass behind them? The sun does the prettiest things!This is hands down my favorite photo spot in the city. A field plus the skyline. It just blows my mind every time! PS - Have I mentioned that sun yet??? I think I'm going to stop here. There are actually more - and believe it or not, this session took about 40 minutes. Mini maternity sessions are awesome.
